There are lots of hostelries and cottages that welcome dogs and of course lovely walks along the many footpaths and bridleways, coastal paths or on the heaths and in the forests.
Just remember that some (but by no means all) resort beaches are closed to dogs in the summer. See below.

There are a number of Dog Events around: at Heveningham Country Fair, Benacre’s Strutt your Mutt, Suffolk Dog Day and the Festival of Dogs.
