Arts & Entertainment

The Blyth Valley punches well above its weight on the Arts front providing first rate performance, music, visual art and cinema.

The Cut Arts Centre in Halesworth offers a very varied programme of drama, weekly cinema, concerts and exhibitions throughout the year while Southwold has an Arts Centre providing a specially curated programme of arts events.

In late summer, Waveney & Blyth Arts presents an environmental-themed arts programme featuring creative walks that take place across the area and a well-known Sculpture Trail

June sees 130 Suffolk artists open their doors to the public under the Suffolk Open Studios umbrella. Many are within the Blyth Valley area and present a great opportunity to meet the artists working in every sort of media – oils, watercolours, acrylics, photography, textiles, ceramics, jewellery, glassware, sculpture, printmaking, mosaics and much more.

And let’s not forget Southwold’s popular Summer Theatre.
